On April 3, 2009 Freebies Deals And Rewards began offering cash rewards for activities performed at the forums.

At various times, cash rewards will be available for members to earn. Once a balance of $10 is reached, you will be able to cash out your rewards. Currently, Canadians can make redemptions for gift cards or PayPal. American members may only cash out via PayPal.

As of September 2010, Monday's will now be Money Back Mondays! Each and every Monday the moderators will review posts and award cash tips!!

Moderators will put cash tips into cash reward accounts for threads that are interesting, relevant, generating a lot of buzz or have had lots of views. Moderators will also post a note in the thread when your cash rewards accounts have been tipped.

Another Coupon Acceptance Policy for Sobeys Grocery Store

This is our grocery store of choice due to the wide selection and high quality produce and meats. We do prefer to support stores who support our habit to live more frugally and there is certainly room for improvement.

Due to the large amount of fraudulent online coupons circulating, Sobeys will not be honouring online coupons at this time. Coupons must be part of a merchandising program between the merchandiser and vendor.

Manufacturer coupons are accepted by stores provided the issuing vendor regulations are met. Each coupon is evaluated on an individual basis by store management. If you have any concerns please feel free to speak with the store manager or franchisee where you shop who will be happy to assist you.

There's certainly a discussion here around how couponing will evolve in the future due to 'fraud' behaviours. Should coupons be available on apps and then eliminate the need for paper? For example, X, Y, and Z manufacturers load coupons to National Grocery Coupons App support by major grocery stores and the coupons are available to so many takers? Is this a way to be green and stop fraud? Hmmm.


We love couponing and want to see it's success carry throughout the years. It's very disappointing for so many good coupons to be refused. It seems like such a waste of resources to create these deals if so few people will be able to redeem them.

Zellers Coupon Acceptance Policy - February 2011

We received another reply from our coupon policies queries. Zellers was one of the quickest stores to prived a reply. We like this store, especially when they have bonus HBC reward coupons and of course using the SPC Card to get 10% off most items, including the restaurant, helps to save a bunch of dollars!

The Zellers Coupon Acceptance Policy is as follows:

Thank you for your email inquiring about the Zellers coupon policy.

We would like to inform you that Zellers will accept manufacturer's coupons provided that they contain a barcode and the terms and conditions are fully legible.

The value of the coupon must not exceed the current retail price of the item being purchased. If the coupon states that it is only one per purchase, then you may only use one coupon per purchase.

If the coupon indicates, one per item, then you may use more than one coupon per purchase but only one per item.

We will also accept on-line manufacturer's coupons but only those from the vendor's website. "
