I learned my lesson this week about not checking online flyers on a regular basis. My PS2 stopped reading dark coloured discs this week and Walmart had a steal of a deal for $40 off the slim console; well my paper carrier delivered the printaper flyers on Saturday, Dec 27 and by the time I got to Walmart the 'apparent 2 skids' they had were sold out! Better luck for me next time!

The National Do Not Call List has finally come to Canada!

The National Do Not call list was launched in Canada at the end of September. For those of you who aren't aware of this new service, it's headed by the Government and the CRTC to help reduce the number of unwanted telemarketing calls. However, this will not stop companies from calling you if you've done business with them in the past 18 months.

So many Canadians wanted to jump on board right away that the servers were overloaded within hours of the site launching! The site seems to be stable now (crossing fingers). So what exactly happens if someone violates this policy?

New legislation gives the Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications
