Want to win some extra cash? Guess how much money is in the jar to win it! The person with the closest guess (without going over the correct amount) will win the jar of coins.

HINT: There are a total of 259 pennies in the jar, totalling $2.59. The rest of the coins consist of quarters, loonies, toonies, nickles and dimes and the total amount is for you to figure out! Good luck and happy guessing!

CLUES: The jar is 13.5 cm tall and is 25.5 cm around the jar and is 7 cm across the lid. The jar is glass with a plastic lid and weighs 4.2 pounds filled with the coins!

RULES:

1. Contest will run for the month of May and June 2009 and will end on June 30/09 at 11:59pm ET.
2. Post your guesses in this thread, only 1 guess per post. Contest thread.
3. There's a limit of three (3) entries, per person. Plus, for every new thread you start, you will earn an additional chance to guess. Reply with your earned guess and the URL of the thread that you started.
4. Open to all members and moderators with a Canadian mailing address. Excludes administrators. Must be over the age of 16.
5. Winner will be selected and posted on Jul 1, 2009. Prize will be shipped once mailing address is confirmed.
