Free Miniature Steam Rides Tomorrow, July 23 in Hamilton, ON

Living in Hamilton and looking for frugal activities to do with the family this weekend? Well look no further, the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology has a treat for you this Sunday. Head on down with the kids to ride the mini train for free.

The Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers run miniature locomotives on both a raised (above ground) and lowered (on the ground) track and are located at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology in Hamilton, Ontario. Jump on board and catch a ride on miniature coal burning steam powered trains tomorrow.

Admission is free to the museum for this outdoor family event. Kids love riding these trains and have a hoot there, so do the parents, grandparents and other adults too! Here's all the details:

Note: They do ask for a $2 donation for parking, but that is so cheap in compared to the fun the kids will have!! Very worth it. However, if you park someplace else and walk in then it can be a free day except the gas you use and the food you eat!

Thanks to Kimber for sharing this free event at FDR's forum.
