Free Miniature Steam Rides Tomorrow, July 23 in Hamilton, ON

Living in Hamilton and looking for frugal activities to do with the family this weekend? Well look no further, the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology has a treat for you this Sunday. Head on down with the kids to ride the mini train for free.

The Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers run miniature locomotives on both a raised (above ground) and lowered (on the ground) track and are located at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology in Hamilton, Ontario. Jump on board and catch a ride on miniature coal burning steam powered trains tomorrow.

Admission is free to the museum for this outdoor family event. Kids love riding these trains and have a hoot there, so do the parents, grandparents and other adults too! Here's all the details:

Bulk Barn In Store Sampling Event on July 23 and July 27

The Bulk Barn stores have been hosting in-store sampling events for the past few months. For a couple of hours they allow customers to sample the goods. Too bad it's not all of the goods...a person could get really full in the bulk barn. They have 1 sample each sampling event day and the next two samples I wouldn't mind trying. I hope they have a coupon coming out soon.

On July 23, this Saturday between 12pm and 2pm stop by the samples booth to try out Luna and Clif bars. They'll have assorted varieties on hand. Maybe they'll let you try 'em all!

On July 27, they'll have the sample booth back in business, serving up assorted varieties of Kashi bars. Yummy, my favourite granola bar snack. This sampling will take place from 12pm to 2pm as well!
