This weekend the FDR gang decided to take it easy. Sorry we didn't do a lot of posting of deals for the past 2 days. We needed to stop and smell the roses too. So we had a peaceful, rested weekend and became birdwatchers...right in our very own backyard.
Here's a video that we shot which appears to be 3 hummingbirds drinking from the nectar feeders and chasing eachother through the air.
Then a little later we caught another short snippet of footage of a young hummingbird taking a short feeding and perching break. (I thought I would take the hanging flowers that were dying from the stand for the second video. We've been in a drought for a while now, but it sounds like we're getting rain this week. It's very much welcomed here!

We get to enjoy so many animals in nature since moving to the country and I hope you enjoy the 2 short videos we have to share. We currently purchase the nectar for the hummingbirds, but heard that frugal people make their own.
